Baron Wolman is best known for his work in the late 1960's for the music magazine Rolling Stone, where he was the first Chief Photographer from 1967 until late 1970.  Baron was actively photographing from 1964 -1985—a period of dramatic change in our country: in politics, the arts, and the ways in which many people decided to conduct their personal lives. This archive is a look into one of the most significant eras in our history—years of turbulence, radical change and artistic triumph that still influence us today.
